We’ll send out an email when we have a scheduled pick, if you’re available, just reply and we’ll try to get you out there. Independent pickers with their own orchard ladder would come in very handy right now. **
Sign up for new volunteer opportunities coming up this harvest season 2026. Besides volunteer tree pickers, we need people to help preserve the fruit and food we pick. Canners, jam makers, dehydrators, etc.
There are also opportunities to help out at the Sunday Farmers Market, at the Community Garden, making posters for events, writing grants, etc. Let us know if you have unique skills.
We try to accommodate everybody’s desire to volunteer to pick fruit, but risk and availability can be a factor in how often you’re contacted. We do our best, but fruit picking is time sensitive. Note, we follow the 1/3 to the homeowner, 1/3 to the picker and 1/3 to the group. In the event the homeowner declines their share, we’ll split 50/50.
Note, we carry $2M liability insurance to protect our volunteers and property owners.
